trying to get rid of a W111 coupe seat - Los Angeles

I don't want to pack it and ship it. No one with "old" cars seems to look in the for sale area. $150, local pickup only.

She's a real peach! I don't think the pictures are helping the "sale".

Well for the person who needs a seat, the pictures should help the sale. The point of the pictures is to show that the seat is complete, particularly the hinge mechanism, is mostly decent chrome with one side needing a little attention, the seat-back release is undamaged (the thing that gets messed up when some kid jumps on it (part common to Pagoda), and the tilt mechanism is undamaged and works.

Basically everything that wouldn't be routine replacement is in pretty good condition.

I actually HAVE a leather seatcover (I think in dark blue) that I could put on this, but that would be the old lipstick-on-a-pig trick.

If I want to take the time of dismantling it, the seat back release is worth well more than $150. I could keep that and throw the rest in the trash, which might be the thing to do.
