Control arms

My Factory MB Workshop CD (that I paid a lot for)will not run on my Win10 pc. I can get to the PDF's and open them but there are 100's of them and no way to know what they are. Eventually I will have to take the time and create a index of them so I can find the procedure I need. But until then does anyone have the procedure for installing the control arms? I remember there are different combinations of washers used.
Tks

There's sort of a way around the stupid working of the factory workshop CD's. It isn't elegant, but it works.

Navigate through the CD to the "program" folder.

Inside, you'll see a bunch of files. Look for the index you want (example: chassis_300SDL.htm) and open it. It should open in your browser. If your browser asks permission to use Flash, grant it permission.

You can now navigate the menus. The files they link to may or may not open when you click the appropriate links. The way around that is to look up the file name. They will be in the folder named for the HTM file you opened (example above will be in the "chassis" folder).

The file name is determined by the "Main Function Group" and the "Sub Function Group".
In the example above, the "Front Axle" is Main Function Group 33 and Sub Function Group 200. The filename will be "33-200.pdf" if the "Chassis" folder.

Certainly not an ideal or "automatic" way to use the program, but it does get the information you need on an unsupported system. I use Win 10 and macOS Sierra and it works on both using this method.
