W111 heater box
Hello all,
I am mid way through taking the heater box out of my w111 coupe. It is a pain in the wotsit. Anyway...do I need to seperate the plastic ducting each side which are clipped to the box and which give heated air to the windscreen and floor? I ask because it does not seem possible to undo the clips in situ, and it looks impossible to remove the heater box and associated plastic ducting altogether. Sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place. Or, as I was earlier, the floor and the brake pedal. Thanks all. Dave

Just for info, it is possible to remove the heater without removing the ducting from the car. Just. The passenger side ducting comes out easily enough anyway once the glovebox is out, and the other side can stay in.
Probably the worst job I have ever done on a car..god knows how it's going back in.
