What came in this crate?

I bought this crate last week and am very curious to learn what came inside. It is stamped with the markings, the weight conversions are mine:
  • D.B.U. (Daimler Benz Untertürkheim???)
  • Los Angeles
  • Made in Germany
  • 85361/7
  • Brutto 91kg (200.6 lbs)
  • Netto 55kg (121.3 lbs)
  • 0.230m³
Any clues here? Would this be for spares like a replacement transmission?

Seems a little heavy for a transmission, but the size seems about right.

I wonder what the 85361/7 is for.
