W108 universal joint cracked sleve
 
I'm in the process of rebuilding my rear axle on the 280SEL 4.5 and I noticed that some of the splines on the sleeve were broken. After I complete removed the sleeve from the universal joint I found that the whole sleeve is cracked.

Is that a common issue? Any source where I can get a good one?

Main dealers in you area . Or post on the wanted section on the forum
Someone might have an old propshaft or driveshaft you call it over the pond to let you have .
