W110 Tansmission Mount
Can anyone advise if the transmission mount for a '66 200D is the same as a single engine mount for the same model? Numbers I've seen are 120-223-0412, 180-223-0212, and 180-223-1012.

120-223-0412 is a rubber mounting for some w111, w108, and others. I did not see w110 on that list.
180-223-0212 is a rubber mounting for your car, and is referred to in EPC as rear engine mount (but I think we often call the same thing the tranny mount). It is not sold individually by MB (you have to buy one of their "repair kits"). 180-223-1012 is the rubber mounting for the left and right engine mounts, and are also sold in a "repair kit." The fact that the number is different suggests to me that they are different parts. Sorry to not have any specific experience with the parts.

I just did a google image search of the two 180-223 parts, and they are very similar but different. It looks to me that the orientation of the long dimension of the top level of the mount is different. On one, it appears to be oriented 90 deg from an imaginary line connecting the two bolt holes. On the other, it appears to be at 45 degrees from an imaginary line connecting two bolt holes.

66 200D trans mount
Can anyone advise what is the height of a new / uncompressed rubber trans mount for the W110 200D?
Trying to figure out if my old mount is tall enough to re-use. |
