W114 Coupe exhaust
 

Have a 75 280C that will get the Euro dual exhaust.
Now, has anybody else done that?
Have the manifolds, front pipes and a W108 280 rear muffler (same pipe sizes of 45mm).
Where can I get the center muffler? I have the Imasaf part number 48.30.06 for example. And the original Benz number. Contacted Imasaf (Italy) directly. No response.
Germany... Will not ship from one of the dealers (believe it was Schulz).
Might have to try UK. No Imasaf from Canada either.
I know aftermarket could be a choice but not preferred.

nobody has ever put a dual exhaust (twin pipes) as in Germany under the car?

Tried to see if the Mercedes classic center in California might locate one for you? They very regularily get parts from Europe I would think. Almost weekly I would expect.

I will eventually do this myself. I will not install the middle muffler.
