1977 450 SLC Oxygen sensor
I purchased a new oxygen sensor from a company that had it listed for the 1977.
Took it to a muffler shop, neither of us could find the old oxygen sensor? So where is it located???????????? |

On the Yellow Brick Road.
Which is traveled by the very hard-of-hearing. |

Does the '77 even HAVE an O2 sensor? I thought those came along in the 80s?
Capital letters, bold text, and giant fonts are often considered "shouting" in online settings. Just a little FYI...

Yeh I have seen books that said it had an O2 sensor, then other places that said it didn't.
I spent over 4 hours at Google looking for a 1977 Oxygen sensor location. Lots of information on other models, none for the 450 SL and SLC. So the 450 just might not have an oxygen sensor. Frank probably knows but since he lives in Kommiepornia he thinks he knows it all. My car runs great now, even burns rubber if I push the go pedal down too hard. I have spent a LOT of time under the hood, and looked every where under the car at the muffler shop. Yeh I know about the conventions, but there is times you have to shout to get noticed. I have been published and have run several web sites as my spare time allowed. Hey it attracted Frank and his wit? |
