Programa REMAN ECU for D-Jet 450SEL
Hi all.
Just wanted to drop a line and see if anyone has had any luck with Programa REMAN ECUs. After taking my car to the shop, they isolated the issue to a bad ECU. My Injector Trigger Points are new from Mercedes, I redid the soldering on the Trigger Point connector (and my mechanic verified that the wiring is correct), and the fuel pump and all the fuel system rubber bits are all new. I bought a REMAN Programa unit from PelicanParts and the first one I received was running lean on acceleration and not injecting cylinders 2 and 7. I sent it back and they sent me a new one but the one they sent me had the same issue--not injecting cylinders 2 and 7. However, whenever the shop plugs in their working test unit from another car, it fires all eight injectors. Anyone have this sorta crappy luck with these Programa REMANs? Any success stories? Just wondering.... I would hate to see anyone go through what I'm going through....

Interesting. I bought a car that wouldn’t inject on two cylinders, and I replaced every part with spares I had until I finally fixed the issue with a spare ECU. I guess this problem of 2 cylinders failing to inject could be a common issue with these ECUs.
I buy whole parts cars, not new or reman parts. That’s how I get my D-jet parts. ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd be having a close look at the cars harness connector to make sure a terminal isn't spread out.
