Carb & airfilter for 200 Petrol W110 68

Mine is the 4 cyl petrol, just to make it slightly fast want to keep the solex aside and install a WEBER Carb.

Should I do it in the first place or keep it original ( I would keep the Solex for some day)

Have anyone here installed a weber Carb or any other carb that helped to gain some power ????

Please share , and which particular weber should I go for . Also I would be changing the airfilter too.

I would keep the car with the carb and air cleaner that it was engineered to have from the factory. I'd just try and get the car running well and then it'll do fine.

I agree!

The engine was designed by amazing engineers. Solex is effective and easy to rebuild. No doubt that there is a YouTube video that will aid you in rebuilding with a kit. Switching to after market carburetor harms the value.
