W108 replace kingpin upright with balljoint type?

Hi all,
I have a W108 I'm going to be using for track events. I'd like to replace the front uprights to ball joint type. Are there any direct fit control arms that'll let me do this and run say W116 uprights?

Thanks in advance

No, W108 have double wishbone suspension and W116's have a MacPherson strut system.

Those kingpins are very tough and durable if greased with every oil change. They'll by far outlast any sealed ball joint assembly.

MB used the same king pins from 180 to 6.3 so they're used on a **** load of cars.
