Rubber seal for driver window
Hi All - I am trying to source the rubber seal for the driver window.
To be precise it is for the small triangular part - pics below. I called Mercedes and they want £231 - even the guy on the phone couldn't understand why or explain why. Has anyone used anything else as a substitute to this? Thanks for your help! Sol |

W108 Wing window seals part numbers are: 1087250124 and 1087250224. Not sure what model you've got.
MB factory rubber is always spendy, but fits properly. |

Parts
This ebay seller based in Turkey seems to cover most of this market. I bought this week a few items and will update you in time.

Follow up from Turkey
3 of the 4 items I bought did not fit correctly and the seller prolonged response to make return ineligible at ebay. Avoid if you can, because payment is outside ebay with excuses to probably cover tracks for returns.

Stick to the OEM for the door and window seals and also engine mounts. It will always fit and it will last longer. The aftermarket rubber is terrible. Stay away from it. It is cheap for a reason poor quality rubber. Yes the OEM is expensive but it worth it in the long run.

I don't know much about this website or whether it is OE stuff or aftermarket. But it used to be discussed so maybe you can dig out more from earlier discussions. Prices are somewhat less than you mentioned.

You might try DBDepot also.
