And this is why the first X of a new batch of parts needs to be sold at whatever the market will bear so initial investment can rapidly be recovered Vs selling all at a lower cost and spreading the investment across the total number of parts made.
Some parts from a batch might never sell in a reasonable amount of time, this also needs to be taken into account as does cost of storage.
