And this is why the first X of a new batch of parts needs to be sold at whatever the market will bear so initial investment can rapidly be recovered Vs selling all at a lower cost and spreading the investment across the total number of parts made.

Some parts from a batch might never sell in a reasonable amount of time, this also needs to be taken into account as does cost of storage.

1955 220a i have a 1966 250 s engine id like to install in my 220a are the flywheels interchangeable outside the engine looks identical

there is a constant stream of improvements over the years with clutches, flywheels and transmissions. The 10 year difference in models translates to several generations of improved devices.

I would say the answer to your question is "unlikely".
