Looking for 280 or 300sel
Hello all,
I'm new to the list but not to the hobby, looking for a 280 or 300sel 4.5 (W108/109) for sale on west coast, preferably L.A. area. Not afraid of mechanical work but body work and bondo is not my gig. Dan O.

The places to look are:
www.mbz.org (join the 108 & veterans mailing lists there). http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com/ http://www.recycler.com/asp/Class.asp?iC=5000 The last had at least 10 cars based on searching for "mercedes" and limiting it to 1971-1973. There were more 280se 3.5 sedans than I expected (a model not imported into the US). -CTH
