250 SE Coupe Manual Gearbox

Howdy:
I was curious about a problem with my '66 250 SE/C. When the car is cold, it shifts fine (it's a floor-mounted 4-speed). After the car's been driven for a while, it seems that it becomes more difficult to shift - gear shift squeaks and shifting is not as easy. Could this have something to do with the slave cylinder for the clutch? I thought it may have to do with internal clearances on the bushings for the gearbox, but if that were the case, wouldn't it always shift hard?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanx,

Fred Riss

Do you have a full load of ATF in there ? Yes, the manual transmissions like ATF.
