Neutral Safety Switch

I have a 1973 280-C. The wireing to the neutral safety switch is hanging under the car and contacts are taped together to allow the car to run. Where is the switch? Have spent considerable time under the car with no luck.

The switch itself is on the driver's side of the transmission. It allows starting in P and N, and turns the backup lights on in R.

You may have to remove the rear crossmember and drop the trans down to get at it more effectively.
