Has anyone ever rebuilt a steering box on a 71 280SE 3.5? Mine has a leak that is hard to trace. I put new o-rings and washers on the bolts in the banjo fittings for the pressure and return lines but the leak is still there. If anyone has any experience with these I would appreciate any insight. Thanks to all.

You'll need to reseal the entire box. There is a kit available through MB which contains all the necessary o-rings and such to do the job.

I probably ought check on this myself, as I have to pull it to replace the steering coupler sometime soon anyway.

Speaking of which, does anyone know where I can get the rubber bushings for the steering coupler so I don't have to replace it?
