This sure is a quiet forum

I hope that means that our Benz's are running really well or that there just aren't that many vintage MB's out there.

Just thinking out loud.

Northern CA doesn't inflict this on you, but here in MI we're all hibernating, as are our MB's; check our pulses in another six weeks and they'll be back up over 60!

And some of us are in school Come May and June you'll probably hear a hell of a lot more from me as I take the mothballs out of her (proverbially speaking) and get her into tip-top running shape!

As a charter Michigan member (E.Lansing, Allendale, and Benton Harbor), I can relate!

You don't even want to go out to the mailbox! ...let alone go to work.
If it won't fit in your living room, it ain't gonna get worked on!

I just got back from Canada 2 weeks ago.
Much more snow in the DC area than in Toronto! I Just won a batch of tail-fin chrome tips and strips for 'Miss Daisy' on Ebay. When the Ice-Age ends, I can install them.

Happy Motoring, Mark

Oh ya.
I feel better now.
Sorry you guys cant enjoy this absurd California weather right now. It feels like May out here.
The intense summer sun is a bit of a challenge for the interior though.

The 280C is marooned in the garage at work with all the snow and salt. I have been accumulating parts with Gympie's help to upgrade the Solex 4A1 so there will be some action on that soon.

The 250C sits in primer waiting for a decision to paint it or part it.

The 380SL gets garage time only on weekends in this weather and I am plotting the steering box replacement. That should be good for any number of interesting posts.

And there's this five speed that just arrived from California that could go in the 250C or 280C.

Stay tuned!
