specific ?'s---lights

Okay,

How do I remove the lenses from the front rurn signals for cleaning and bulb replacement? What are the strongest bulbs I can usr for the surn sig's, tail, brrake, etc... without worrying about burning out the circuit, lamp holders, or lenses?

How about repainting the lamp holders--has anyone tried to repaint the inside with high-temp shiny silver paint? Or maybe fine silver foil available at model supply stores?

Finally, what manuals are available? I have a factory shop manual, and I found a Haynes. Are there any others?

TIA,

Peter

Peter:

There is a notch in the chrome trim ring for a screwdriver to pry the ring off.

Use the bulb specified, it's the standard parking/turn signal lamp. Anything bigger may cause trouble. I've seen any number of rear reflectors melted because some idiot put a brake light bulb in the running light spot.

Factory shop manual is by far the best. You will need the M117 engine manual in addition, and I think there is a separate body manual, too.
