First Ever Forum Photos of Miss Daisy

For those who expressed an interest in seeing my '60 Finnie, "Miss Daisy", the photos are on (of all places) the Diesel Discussion under the title 'Richmond GTG Photos!!!'
You can see Miss Daisy mingling with a couple of late model Benzes. Thanks to Eric Starr (Peyton300td) for posting the pictures. After surviving screaming tractor trailers and maniac SUV drivers on I95 to Richmond, the sun finally came out and we had a fun afternoon at Dorey Park. Then a more leisurely and relaxing return trip home for Miss Daisy and me on RT1.

Happy Motoring, Mark

Miss Daisy looks fine for her age. A little of her character shows in the pictures but none of the blemishes. For the most part she looks fairly straight. Keep her running strong.

Nice car!!

I had forgotten that distinguishing features of the '60/'61 220Sb included fender mounted side view mirror and front signal lights located at corner of headlight pods.

Since I got my 220S I very occasionally see others (and I used to see them alot more often) and they've always been one of the later versions, with the TS 'bullet' lights, inboard of the headlight units and/or the speaker grill on top of the dash. Only the '60 220 had the speaker, for the optional radio, mounted in a separate under-dash enclosure, where the later cars would carry the optional AC unit. Miss Daisy ran great on the GTG trip so I'm planning some more trips, first to Virginia Beach and then, maybe up to Pennsylvania and Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Happy Motoring, Mark

Hey Mark,
It's good to see Miss Daisy finally. She has that look about her that you can just tell she's a very very early model. I don't know what it is but all other things being equal, its just the soul of the car. Know what I mean?
Looks like shes seen a few things in her time.
Glad that you've got her and are keeping another fintail on the road where it belongs.
Josh
