Blue-Grey Color

My Ponton appears to be blue-grey but there are two such
colors, DB162 and DB166. Does anyone have a car in either
color and/or is there a photo on the web of it?
Thanks.

bluegray

Hi,
The attached file shows that db 162 was used in the period 01.1955-05.1956, so it couldn`t be your paint...should be db 166.
Visit again http://www.mbzponton.org/ponton3/colorcht/colorcht.htm
Anyway, I`d trust the German color codes attachments.

The factory in those days would apply any of their paints on request. Non- standard colors were not uncommon. There should be a metal tag on top of the right fender well just under the hood which has the paint number stamped on it. Ed
