Don't you just love all the convenient features they have, I love the tilting mirror, the power sunshade, auto dimming mirrors, the command center in the dash (w203), I can't stop. Eventually yes, you are right they will all fail, but that will be on the next guys bill not mine . I don't know what will be of these cars 10, 20 years from now. I just don't see anybody wanting or able to afford to fix all the electronic stuff inside this things, but well, we'll worry about that then .
On another note, I just love looking at the w203 and the w108 parked next to each other...

I agree, I think the current cars will be unrestorable like the 600 unless you have verrrrrrry deeeeeep pockets. I thinks cars today are approaching a point where they are being built today to ultimately recycled.
