Can anybody please advise me on the location and appearance of the intermittent wiper relay for a 1977 W116? My wiper works fine in position 2, 3 and wash, but fails to work at all in position 1.

I have the same issue but believe the problem is with the wiper switch.? Position 1 works some of the time but also when pushed in on the end of switch shaft to spray and wipe mostly the spray function works sometimes the wipers will move too.

Thoughts?
