I am having problems posting pics image too big. any help?

Have you tried shrinking or cropping the pics.... then adding them as attachments - one at a time?

I notice some pics are posted with the text, rather than as an attachment.............I would appreciate advice on how to do this as it seems several pics can be added to a reply.......link below to TomJ's post with 2 pics in text

David: In order to do that, you need your own image host. Then once uploaded to said host, you can use the IMG button (in the vB Code area) to insert the URL of the image. That way you can insert multiple images (one per IMG tag).

240d: Open the images in an editing program (like Adobe Photoshop, Jasc Paint Shop Pro, ArcSoft Photo Base, MGI Photo Suite, Print Shop, etc) and if it says the file size is too big, then save it as a jpeg (jpg) image with compression about 50%. If it says the dimensions are too big, resize it so that the width is no bigger than 800 and the height no bigger than 600, but keep the aspect ratio (in other words, if the image is 1000x1000 pixels, don't make it 800x600, make it 600x600).

But note that you can't link the images fromsaid site(s): Tripod, yahoo, geocities and the like don't allow remote image linking (unless you use the txt trick - renaming an image like *.png or jpg or gif to *.txt...)
