Nationwide.

BTW, I just love the way people look at my car when I drive it around.

There is a guy at work who just got a 420SEL. It's got 260K miles on it and he paid around $1200. I refered him to this site. He may or may not be repair savvy. It may need chain guides and a chain.

Hell, if you can't make up your mind on what to do with it... I'm sure some people here including myself wouldn't mind taking it off your hands. My dad wants a 560SEL but doesn't want to drive a car that gets 14-18 m.p.g. on a good day.
Good Luck
David

When I was going to do my valve seals, the mechanic that helped me out said that most likely, if you are burning that much oil, then it is a bad guide (or more). Are any of the plugs fouling out? Can we get some pictures of this car?
Thanks
Tim

Thanks

I will ask the mechanic on thursday. My rear cv boot needs to be rebuilt.

I was thinking of having the rear sub mounts inspected and replaced if req.

Pictures ..... I'll post some soon.

I don't drive the S2000 in the snow - it has no traction at all! But, I do get it out as much as I can in the winter.

Thanks for all your thoughts, I need to see this chappy on thursday and take it from there.

Oh I thought you were talking about a Mercedes. Maybe a 2000 S-class.
