Help! Does anybody know the color code?
 

I am trying to find the correct color code for a 1976 240d in the very lite beige color. Is there a code on the car somewhere or does anyone know what it is?

Go to www.paintscratch.com

Enter your make and year, find the chip that matches your color (possibly # 623?). Then see if you can locate that same 3 digit number on the data plate by the radiator to verify.

(The paint code lives on that data plate somewhere, but I don't remember at what position).
