No Turn Signals!

I think this is a pretty urgent topic If I were like the other users in my area I might not care, but since I have to make a left-turn off a highway into my apartment complex, I think not having a turn-signal is asking to be rearended!

It isn't the fuse. I checked it, and my fuel gauge still works too. My hazards work, just no signals. The plug for the switch is in tight and my wipers, speed control, and high beams all function properly.

What's up? Any ideas?

take out the bulbs and check for continuity.. check relay... check plug under dash into relay... Use a voltmeter...check the sockets while signal is on...

Do they come on when you push the lever up or down? If so, the flasher is shot, replace. May and may not be the emergency flasher, I don't remember on this car.

It isnt the bulbs, my hazards blink all 4.
They don't work in high or low beam position (tried it before I posted this!)

It's dark now, and cold. I'll look tomorrow in the light for the relay(s)

There must be something dirty inside my hazard switch - if I pull it out a bit they work but if it's pushed all the way in they don't.

I found the problem and it's ok for now, maybe in the future (when warmer weather dominates) I'll yank it out and soak it in contact cleaner.

The hazards were flashing brightly when I saw it parked on Linden Street on Thursday.

That's GREAT (that you saw it in that period of time, hehe). It was there NO MORE than 5 mins while I went in to mail a package I sold on eBay (PS pump)

It's stupid that they have, what, 3 spots for the post office! Yeesh! You'd think they'd have a couple more!
