I've never seen a fintail with 2 factory fitted mirrors, but you should be able to get a right hand one from the UK. I think I've got one somewhere. I bought it for my 230S, but the guy sent me a wing, rather than door mounted one.

My car's a low mileage (24,000) '66 200. It has a set of cross-ply tyres which look original and are 95/93L 6.7-13c

Right side mirrors were optional on LHD cars. I saw one recently on Ebay, opening at over $100!

Depending on year and model, original Fintail tire sizes were 6.70x13, 7.00x13, 7.25x13 or 7.50x13 bias-ply tires. My '60 Fintail 220S is currently fitted with 185/80R13 tires, the modern radial equivalent to a 7.25x13.
I'm switching to 14 inch rims as it's now difficult to find quality 185/80R13 tires.

Happy Motoring, Mark

nasher,

Aren't you worried your 38 year old tires might disintigrate on you at any second? Or do you not do any freeway driving?

When I was using the car a lot, I used a set of 14" wheels from an old 123 I used to own. I really don't use the car that often now, so have put the original wheels and tyres back on.
