Bought another Brit, selling my SL

Hey all,

My 1977 450SL is for sale in the classifieds and SL forum. I've gone and purchased another English car, 1973 TVR 2500M so something has to go and I would rather keep my TR6 and MGB, so the 450 is on the docket. We've owned it since it was brand new. Much work recently done on it. For details, head either to the SL forum or classifieds. You can also e-mail me at: benzpower@aol.com for pics..

For your next Brit, may I suggest the 'poor man's Cobra', a Sunbeam Tiger?

Happy Motoring, Mark

TVR is fiberglass body if memory serves me well...... it looks like a miniature Chaparell, doesnt it?

No doubt the Sunbeam Tiger is the ultimate sleeper with V-8 under the hood........ However the ultimate would be a Lotus - *any* Lotus - especially the roadster Elan or the Europa (if you can fit inside), or even the Lotus Super Seven - if any have survived.

What's with the MGB?? I thought you owned a Triumph TR4a IRS.

One of the very few Brit cars I ever enjoyed to look at was a late 50's/early 60's Austin Healey (sp?). The 3000's, I belive they were. My dad had one a LONG time ago when he was in college. I think it was Austin Healey's top end car, above the sprite. I'm no expert, but I've seen them on ebay, and they are beautiful cars. Just incase you're ever looking for some more.
Thanks
David
