Indigo didn't say which two cylnders were low or if it was running rough or missfiring, so I suggested disconnecting the brake booster vacuum line because this would be an easy test to confirm or eliminate the booster as a suspect.

That's a good point... But I honestly don't know enough about the internals to provide an explanation.
The two bad cylinders are the ones closest to the firewall, so #5 and #6, I assume. |

Coincidentally, the part of the intake manifold near #5 and #6 are where the booster vacuum line is attached.
