w108 suspension - are 250s and 280s identical?

I have a w108 280s, 1969, which I'm in the process of restoring. My brother-in-law has a w108 250s, 1967, which has lots of rust and is not worth restoring. However, his 250s has a rebuilt front and rear suspension.
I may have to get some new shocks for my 280s as well as other suspension parts. Are all w108's suspensions identical? Can I use his 250s as a parts car? What are the main differences between the two models (obviously except for the engine)?
Thanks.

The cars are the same. Actually, the post 1963 W111 models have the same front suspension.

Go for it.
