wheels balanced but steering wheel vibrates

I had the wheels balanced but still have vibration of steering wheel on highway. What could be the reason of vibration?

Can a bad tire or bent wheel pass balancing but cause steering wheel vibration?

Below is the history of the problem.

On Thursday (4 days ago), I hit curb while I was driving very slowly and heard air leak. The front right tire became totally flat. I moved my car a little slowly to get more room between curb and my car. Spare tire was put and I went to Sears where the tires were purchased with road hazard.
I had two new front tires put, but I found one tire was put in wrong direction (it is directional tire). I went back to Sears. They were about to close. A technician re-installed the tire quickly.
On the way home, I felt vibration of steering wheel on highway.

The next day, Friday (3 days ago), I had wheels re-balanced and rotated at local Goodyear.

Today I drove on highway and felt vibration of steering wheel.

I went to nearst Goodyear shop (different from the previous Goodyear shop). They re-balanced my wheels without any charge. They said 3 wheels were a little out of balance.
But they said I might still have the vibration due to bad tire or problem in suspension components.

I test drove on highway and felt vibration, though a little less.

Before the flat tire accident (4 days ago), my steering wheel felt very stable on the same highway.

Seems like if the balance is dead on...

Then one or more of the tires could be out-of-round...

Just out of curiousity what brand and style tire were they..?

If the alignment was causing the vibrating...

Something would have to be out of whack, more than ever so slightly...

Only trying to brainstorm...

Is there a way to tell whether a tire is out of round? Road force balance?

I still had vibration after rotation.

I went to Sears today. They said they would replace tires but had only 2 Falken tires. I had them change all 4 tires to Michelin MXV4 plus. I payed the difference in the tire price. It feels better. (I am not saying Falken is bad, but I guess I unluckilly had one or more defective tires.)

But Sears put 195/65 15 89H, though I told them to put 91H. They apologized to me for putting tires with wrong weight index. They will put Michelin 91H next week as the tires arrive in their store.

I cannot help but wonder;

What are they [Sears] going to do with all those used tire sets..?

Interesting...
