Valve stem covers on C280
Ok, here's another lame one from a rookie: Is there anything such as "stock valve stem covers" for Mercedes? If so, are they available? I did some searches with no luck. I just had some dipstick steal all four of mine from my wheels on my 98 C280. I really liked the ones that were on my wheels, however, I have no idea if they were the stock ones or just some cheap AZ ones. They were very heavy metal that were easy to grip (obviously since someone was able to make off with them quickly!). |

You can get nice heavy-duty metal covers at any good tire shop.
You may want to " snug " them up a little with pliers.

The ones that I have typically seen at dealers are pretty light and cheap. I know the ones that came with my car were by no means any type of heavy metal, but they do the job just fine.
