Can I mount W220 wheels on my S210?

Can I mount S-Class (W220) OEM wheels on my E-Class (S210)? I will be using the correct size E-Class tires, so that is not an issue.

I am specifically looking at the OEM 16x7.5 7-spokes. I think these are beautiful. The other plus is that there are always several sets for sale on EBay since S-Class owners seems to change their wheels more than others.

I am pretty sure that the bolt pattern, hub hole, load rating, and rim dimensions would be fine, but I am not sure about the offset of this wheel.

I checked every 16x7.5 wheel on www.tirerack.com available for the 2000 E320 4Matic Wagon, and the offset ranges from +35mm ~ +41mm.

A 2000 S430 Sedan uses a 16x7.5 wheel, I got the wheel offset from an Ebay seller. They are +46mm, so... a 5mm spacer should do the trick I think. I found a 5mm spacer at www.bekkers.com and I have contacted them regarding the spacers and lug bolts. Would it be safe to use spacers to decrease the offset, or am I just asking for trouble?

However, I am not sure if the W220 cars with the 16" wheels use a 12mm lug bolt like my S210 or not.

This is what the car will look like.

Sorry, W220's use 14mm lugs.
