Hello all, I have a w115 240d and a w116 6.9 and I would really like to upgrade the wheels since the 14" steel and bundts are as bland as ever. There are sets of wheels and tires on Craigslist in LA that are for sale. One set is 16" 5 spoke wheels from a 2001 C320 (w203?) body . The other is a set of 16" 10 spoke wheels from a 2004 E320 w211 bodied car. Does anyone know if the size or offset would interefere with the steering or suspension on the 115 or 116's? Has anyone attempted a 18" or larger on a w116? Any help or advice would be greatly apprecciated!

I'm quite sure that the bolt pattern will be the same, but you will have to pay close attention to offset. You will need to do some measurment and learn about what the offset numbers mean. The offset is cast inside most any wheel and begins with ET. Example ET43 indicates a 43MM offset.

Do your homework before laying out your hard earned cash.
