AVS ES 100 tread wear problem
I have a set of AVS ES100 on my 190E 16v. I have a set of 215/40/ZR17/83W on the front and 215/45/ZR17/87W on the back. The fronts have about 23k on them and still have a ways to go. The backs only have about 7k and are down to the tread wear indicators. They are wearing even, no cupping, or raised blocks.
What’s up? The tires were purchased at separate times. I do not track the car. I am a fairly sedate driver. I do not understand why the same tire should have such wear discrepancies. If they both wore out quickly I could understand, but not this.
