240D Tires
Good Morning,
I'm going to be replacing the tires on my '83 240D soon and would like the group's comments on the following: Sam's Club has the Dunlop SP40 in 195/70R14 for $40.77 a tire. Has anyone had experience with these tires? Am I being too cheap & should consider spending a little bit more for something vastly superior? Remember that it's a 240D, so we're not going to be dealing with a lot of 'performance driving'. Thank you!

Ah! Another banned refugee!! Dunlaps are fine for a 240D. For less revs on the highway however you might want to consider 205/70-14s.

The suspension on that car really reserves D60A2s
but they won't last nearly as long.
