Any ideas about what size lug stud I need for my wheel upgrade
I got a killer deal on some chrome wheels ($150 with tires)!!
They are the same as this auction on ebay wheels like mine My problem is they came without lug studs and I am not sure what size they might be. There seems to be several styles of Benz lug studs. This guy on ebay seems to have a good selection. Any ideas ebay bolts My car is a 1984 300D The car they came off of was a 1987 300SD (but not original) The total lug size of the 1987 300D bolt is 61mm, but I dont know if the bolt that was installed was original or not. I think my lug studs are 12mm When I place the original studs from my car in the holes of my new wheels they stick out only about 1/8" |

I got a set of 8x16's from a '91 SL and put them on my 126 sedan. I just called my favorite parts guy and asked for the lug bolts for the '91 SL. Worked great on the back, but had to use wheel spacers on the front. From what I understand, you don't need spacers with the 7.5" wide wheels. If you want to, email me and I'll measure the lug bolts I bought for my wheels....
