I need caps and lug bolts for these wheels

Hey all, I bought these AMG Monoblock I wheels on eBay and I need caps, and lug bolts for them...

Does anyone have a set, or can suggest where I could buy them??

Also I need to get them redone (paint, dents, etc.), anyone know a good shop in Houston, or Texas for that matter??

I also need to get some tires, any recommendations? I plan to put them on my 92 300d the wheels are 17 inches by 8 inches with an offset of et28...

225s maybe?

Thanks Jason

Lug Bolts

I found some descent lug bolts on the wesite uneedapart.com. I received a whole set of 24 bolts for my mercedes for 15.00. I am sure the price varies but give it a shot you never know. Good luck!!!!!!

ok few things to get these wheels tow ork.

1. Roll all the fenders
2. Bend the fender lips after rolling out 20 degrees from this: \ to this" /
3. Install AMG fender spacing kit on the front
4. Do some modding to the rear fenders behind the bumper to space them out on the bottom. I used to have instrauctions on it, but don;t have them any more.
5, Make sure the lugs are not too long
6. Center caps will be hard to find I would think. you may have ot have some made up at a machine shop.

These wheels are 17x8 with an et of 28, this makes them very agressive. AMG with the fender mods fit 235/45/17 on them. I have on mine 225/45/17 and I have rubbing and I have rolled the fenders and installed the AMG front fender spacing kit. I have not bent the fender lips out 20 degrees and I have not modified the rear fenders to get them out yet. I plan on doing that sooner or later, which should aleviate the rubbing.

Wheels of America...

Yep I took the wheels over there, they said the could repair three of them but the forth was a no go.

So I tool them to SABs, no problem they can fix all four. However SABs is more expensive, WOA is 124/wheel while SABs is 150/wheel. That includes everything...

Right now I'm trying to figure out what it will cost to do the modifications to fit the wheels. The suspension is easy, but the body work...could be difficult to find the right people.

Not on 92 400E

Supposedly the 400E has the exact same body as the 300E. There may be some differences in the front suspension pieces to accommodate the V8 , but I have not had anyone confirm that. I have had these wheels on my car 1992 400E for nearly 10 years. When the car was stock, I ran 235X45X17 tiers on these wheels and I got only minor rubbing at the front edge of the lower front fender plastic molding. I did not have to roll the FF fender lips. I did however have to roll the RR fender lips with this same tire setup. I took a hammer as the instructions suggest and flattened the RR fender lip down to nuthin'. Now I wear 245X40X17 with no rub and have test fitted 255X40X17 with no rub as well. I have the AMG rear bumper now but the rear bumper was never an issue. The RR wheels didn't stick out any more than the 18X9's that I have on my 500E(flared fenders and all).
So my point is that you may NOT have to do all that FF fender work if you don't mind just the slighest of rubs to the FF fender area, but you will need to roll the RR fenders .....unless you want to wear 215 or 225 size tires. Try a 40 series instead of the 35 and that will make the tire just that much shorter. If I do not install the 18X8 Monoblocks (245X40X18) I recently acquired on the car, I'm going to go back with the 255X40X17 on the car. Your cars will not accommodate this size in the FF like mine will because I have added the 500E Front fenders/bumper stuff.

I looked at my 95 E420's fenders and I think the fender lips are already rolled from the factory (if my understanding of fender rolling is correct)

You might want to look at that first.

No, there's still a hair of lip there. I had to roll the FF fenders on my 500E when I put the 9X18 wheels on the FF. The tire 245X40X18 were rubbing a bit on the right side. I pressed it down to nuthin' and no more rub
