Quick off-set Q.- w123

Will wheels with a 22mm offset work on a w123?

That is right in the middle of the acceptable range

for _offset_, but one needs to know the width and diameter of the rims to be sure that the combination of dimensions won't produce an interference problem on the tie rod ends, and some really wide tread oversize tires might touch the fender lip, too.

I gather that by 3.0CSI you're referring to

one of those beautiful BMW coupes which usually had an 18-22mm offset. The trouble is, they have a 120mm bolt circle, whereas most or all M-B 5 bolt wheels are on a 112mm circle, so you can't swap wheels without undesireable adaptors or some unreasonably expensive custom machine work.

Ahhhhh well I guess that they would be more fitting on the 3.0 anyways. Im sticking with my bundts for the 300DT.

Thanks!
