Exclamation Any suggestions for 300D tires?

Need to replace 2 rear tires on 85 300D-T. Calls for 195/70 /14's. Any reasons to get a different size?/measurement?
Thanks.

Some people like 205-70-14, I guess for handling. Some people like 195-75-14, I guess cuz they cost a bit less and give a little better mileage. I have always used 195-70-14 and see no reason to change.

I started out with Goodyear Maypops. (Regatta or something like that). They sucked. Constantly having sidewall blowouts and the warrenty was worthless. I had to get rid of them. I am proud to see that Goodyear stock is in the toilet.

Then I went to Bridgestone BT-70. They were good to about 50,000, then they started getting noisy and couldn't be balanced. They developed some funny wear patterns that couldn't seem to be rotated out.

Now using Michelin Symmetry. Have about 40,000 on them on one car and still doing nicely.
