w210 wheels

Hi,

Back from the past... my beloved w123 300D is still smooshed, and the idiot girl who hit it is still without fault, her insurance company claiming that Im totally to blame for her demolishing the rear of my car, and causing a 4 car pileup.

Sorry, had to vent to my old-time MB friends. I still cry when I look at my car in the parking lot (I kept it of course, and it still starts, first cylinder after one crank... and sitting for 3 months or more).

Anyway, my father has a w210 E300D. THinking of snow tires for it, but I want to use good, MB wheels... maybe use the ones on there now for snows, and get a little sportier looking wheel for the summer

Are there any good sources for new MB wheels (I know the dealer always has them mounted on the wall for show)? What about good used sets? w210 cars arent likely to be parted much at this point in the game, unless they really got crashed up bad.

There are some south korean made look-alikes on tirerack.com... and of course they also sell AMG wheels, which might be an option if I want a sportier summer wheel...

WHat is the exact spec for bolt pattern and offset for a w210 e300d?

Any other pertinent info?

WHat wheels from what cars will fit that car? Obviously not my favorite... the 14" bundt, and not my second favorite, the color keyed metal hubcaps...

Thanks,

JMH

Put winter tires on those ugly bottle cap wheels and get a nice set of 19in Brabus wheels with some sticky rubber for summer.

Then since those wheels show off the brakes you will need E55 brakes up front. Don't forget stainless brake lines and body matched calipers.

Then since you have better brakes and better rubber you will need a chip to take advantage of it.

Might as well throw in E55 sway bars, and lower it, and put a sick Kleeman body kit on it.

Every so often I see W210 wheels for sale on this site or in the local paper.
