Does anyone know of a chart (or other) that would allow someone to determine if wheels off one model will fit on another model?
Thanks in advance.

jeffs,
If you click on the Tirerack banner and go into their site check out either their regular wheel search engine or their "Wheel Rack" program. Aside from that I don't know of any printed material that tells what MB rims can be swapped around one model to another. I know a few "do-able" swaps offhand. I'm sure MB DOC and the others have experience with swapping wheels among models. There should be enough collective experience on the site that we can figure out if something will fit another. Short of that, just call Tirerack or your local dealership. Don't be suprised if you get a bit of "snoot" from the dealership crowd on the cross-swapping. BTW, what are you trying to fit to what? Let us know what applications we are talking about/considering and we will do our best to find out for you.

Hope this helps...Lee

Thanks Lee,
Sometimes I see wheels for sale that were originally on a MB and wonder if they would fit my CLK430 for possible winter use.
There is so much info available for MB models and seems almost natural that this info has been compiled. Maybe it would be a good winter project.

Lee,
Just a thought here.
In the Porsche world we have the annual Parade which is the meeting once a year of the owners. One of the big events is the Concours, Which cleanup starts on Friday/Saturday and Sunday. Judging starts Monday with awards that evening.

The rules and specification are listed in the packet that you get for registering. In the rules is a listing of every model with all specs, including tire and wheel combo's for the model being judged (i.e. Standard and Optional tire/wheel setups)

Do any MBCA members out there know if there is a like situation or reference for MB's

Might be a starting point. If not I'd be willing to start a document to list the various flavors available. Most of this info is referenced in the owners/chassis manuals for the various series.
