1983 300sd replacement wheels and tires

need help selecting wheels and tires for 83 300 sd turbo. Any pictures out there. I would like to know which all seasons tires you have had the most success with. I like the conservative look, great ride and performance. I drive aggressive at times.

Any pic or problems switching to 15" or 16" rims and tires ? I have already checked tire rack and have narrowed it down to one of two rims but unsure of tires. Do the lug bolts need to be changed ?

i have a 82 300sd, if you want a set of rims i can see if i can hook you up, just let me know the size and all that you want. Don't go too big or it can possibly mess up your transmission, but thats if you're going to put on 18's. The 300sdl rims look good on our car also

Did you check out the many reviews for these tires @ Tire Rack. Although some provided positive feedback, the majority of owners provided negative comments. Many complained about poor treadwear, noise, and balance/vibration issues. Some comments were from MB owners. Got good marks w/ regard to traction. Looks like a gamble.
