1985 300TD all-season tire recommendations
All;
Due to a belt issue with one of the inexpensive Michelins on my 1985 300TD, I now find myself in need of replacement tires. Wear is sufficient enough to justify purchasing a full set of four. Looking for recommendations on an all-season tire for use in Virginia and that will also take me through the mountains of W. Virginia in the winter (I-64). I would prefer to stay with the original 195/75/14 size, unless the majority of responses indicate that 205 is the better way to go. I was hoping for ConitTouring Contacts, as they work well on my Accord wagon and the wife's 900S, but can't locate them in these sizes. Thanks in advance, Dave |

Yokohama Aegis LS4 would be the best choice in that size

I just put a set of Firestone (Dayton) winterforce tires on the rear of my 81 300SD and love them! Great in snow, ice,rain and they are studable! My size was 195/75/14.

Michelin Hydroedge or Goodyear Assurance TripleTred. Why not buy the highest rated ones??
