Ronal R-9s look sweet but I would have to say that 15" Baroque bundts are the coolest wheel for a w123. Can't find them anywhere however.

the mille miglia

bello is very similar to the wheels i have on my sdl. mine are i think borbet, is that what this is ? mine have the tristars in t he center too. they look identical to me.

to me they make it look a lot newer than 1990.

Ok, I grudingly admit that the R9s do look pretty damn sweet on the wagon. However, they would look better on an Astral Silver wagon, for sure, so if you'd like to experience that timeless sensation, I recommend you send me the R9's as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Sam

I have 15" wheels from a 190E/D.

The move from 14" to 15" wheels made a big difference in cornering flex. Feels more stable.

"those 190 wheels will never fit (at least on the front)"

They fit, but I've always had major inside tread tire wear. I thought it was from bad camber alignment.

I have been SO frustrated over the years that there arent enough wheels made with a 25et. It drives me INSANE. It really reduces the options of upgrading to new wheels w/o having to do mods. I am not a fan of spacers.

However, if I could make it work, id have to say my top wheel choice for my W123 300DT would be BBS RC's, in 16 or 17" Diameter.

Realistically id go with 16" 8-holes, or the ultra rare 15" Bundts.
