I have a 93 400e and found some great replica AMG wheels at discount tire. The problem is, they are 8 inches wide.
Will they fit? Will tires be a problem? I know that Dr. Fuentes went with 17x7.5 and is very pleased. Any input greatly appreciated. Jack Silvey 93 400e Member, MBCA, North Texas |

I don't think they will be a problem. As far as tires are concerned, I believe 225/45/17, or some people go 235/40/17 but that requires additional fender rolling. I know 8" are a squeeze, but the AMG Star Replicas that Discount Tire have seem to fit well. Just call them and make sure, and make sure they will clear you brake calipers. Good Luck.
