I have a 1999 ML430 with OE Dunlops. I have 27K on them and are ready to be replaced. Any recommendations on Michelins for this truck, or any other manufacturer, or should I stick with Dunlop? Thank you...RSL007

I put Bridgestone Dueler SUV Tires in 275/55/17. They work great, and are much better then the stock Dunlops which are made more for off-road multi-purpose OEM specs then on road.

Bridgestone Dueler H/P are $140/each from TireRack.
These tires are well rounded. On snow, they aren't as good as the large blocked Dunlop OEM tires, but are much nicer when it comes to handling, cornering, and comfort aspect. Also, with the technology built into the ML, it may require a little more effort for the ML, but an ML with these tires will make it just about as far as the stock OEM tires will go with just a little more effort (snow or light off-road.)
