Anyone know if a set of 17 x 7.5 AMG monoblocs taken off of a 1987 300E will fit on a 1999 E300 ? I do not know the offset of the monobloc wheels. How critical is this ?

Thanks,
Ken

They should fit fine. The 17x7.5 on a w123 300E should have an et of 37mm. So those are the same ones that would fit a w210 E300. The tire size will be different. You will need 235/45/17.

Depending on Tire Recommendations:

For a Tire for just touring purposes, and no performance biases, the Yokohama Avid H4 is a nice Grand Touring All-Season Tire. For $106

New BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDWS. They have the Higest rating I have ever seen on an Ultra High Performance All-Season tires and the still recieved the best Wet Traction of AA in traction. All for $119.

For a No Compromise Ultra High Performance Tire, I would use the Bridgestone Potenza RE730. It is great in wet and great and dry as well. The price is $140

For MB's Choice for Maximum Performance Tires, go with Dunlop SP Sport 9000. Incredible Wet and Dry, and besides what some people say, I have not heard any problems with these Tires. I agree some other Dunlops have been below par, but not the 9000s. Great Value for this Category too. The Price is $179.
