Valve stems for 16 inch amg wheels

I have a slow leak, and switched tires, but the leak persisted, so its not the tire. Seems to me the only other possibility for an easy, quick fix is the valve stem on the wheel. What size and other things do I need to know in order to buy replacements? Where are they sold? Thanks.

What is so special about the valvestems?
Any good tireshop usually carries an assortment of valvestems to match your other three.

The valve stems on these wheels are of a screw-in type, not the usual rubber ones, so I am assuming they are not readily available.

If you mean the threaded valvestems with the nut on the outside, I have the same.
They were installed by my local tireshop, & I hadn't even asked for them.

This afternoon the shop installed a typical rubber valve stem, so now over the next few days we'll see if the tire holds air. If so, then I will need to decide whether to get a new metal one or leave well enough alone. If not, I've got a bad wheel which isn't made anymore.

The shop installed the usual rubber valve and returned the metal, screw-in one, which probably dates back to 1987. The base black rubber/plastic is relaively small and quite hard and a little chipped, so maybe it didn't seal very well. Unless one looks closely at the wheel, which is unlikely, the rubber stem is not noticeable with the chrome cap on top. If it holds the air, I don't think I will go to the trouble of replacing it with a new metal one.

New valve stem solved the leak; all is well.
